Terms of Service

Whitinger Works provides residential and commercial dryer vent cleaning, 4K camera inspection, code-compliance inspection, repair, rebuild, bird nest removal, vent cap replacement, and soft wash exterior cleaning in Fort Wayne and the surrounding Allen County area. Service availability and scope are confirmed at the time of scheduling.

We provide free estimates. Pricing depends on accessibility, vent length, system condition, and the extent of cleaning or repair required. A final price is confirmed before any work begins. Written quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Appointments are scheduled based on availability. We make every effort to offer same-week scheduling across Allen County, but availability is not guaranteed. You will receive confirmation of your appointment date and a service window before work begins.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a trip fee to cover technician travel. We reserve the right to reschedule in cases of severe weather or conditions that prevent safe work.

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. For commercial accounts, invoiced terms are available by prior arrangement. Past-due balances may incur reasonable fees as permitted by Indiana law.

Cleaning and inspection services are performed to industry standards using NFPA 211 and IRC M1502 guidelines as reference. We stand behind our workmanship; specific warranty terms for a repair or rebuild are provided on your written service report. We do not warrant pre-existing conditions, third-party equipment, or systems we did not install.

Dryer vent cleaning, inspection, and repair reduce fire risk but cannot eliminate it. Lint accumulation, system design, and appliance condition all affect risk. We strongly recommend annual cleaning per U.S. Fire Administration guidance and prompt attention to any warning signs (long dry times, hot dryer, burning smell). Our risk map and educational content are general guides and do not constitute an official fire-risk assessment of any specific property.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whitinger Works is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

All site content — including text, graphics, logos, photography, and the Whitinger Works name — is owned by or licensed to Whitinger Works LLC and may not be reproduced without permission.

Information you submit through our quote form (name, phone, email, address, service notes) is used to contact you and fulfill service requests. We do not sell your information.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Allen County, Indiana.
